What do we do on this floor?
Solid recovered fuel (SRF) is a 100% recycled material, originating from non-hazardous industrial waste. Our Montornés del Vallés plant treats 50,000 tonnes of this waste every year, converting it into a source of energy and preventing it from ending up in landfill.
What do the recovered materials become?
As a substitute fuel in cement production and the energy industry.
How do we do it?
We separate, sort and shred the waste with modern automation systems and meticulous quality control. Throughout the entire process, we analyse the calorific value of these heterogeneous materials and their moisture content.
