Refurbishment of Torre Catalunya with PROSILENCE MIX

PROSILENCE MIX self-levelling mortar was used for the refurbishment of the Torre Catalunya hotel.

PROSILENCE MIX was chosen for this project due to its pumping complications, as the area of action was the 23rd floor. In addition to this difficulty, there was the added difficulty of not interfering with the hotel’s activities during the refurbishment.

This product, being self-levelling, is easy to apply (it was applied in 2 days), and as it contains recycled plastic in its composition, it is more acoustic insulating than other conventional mortars.

This product is kneaded on site, in this case an electric pump was used which was raised with a forklift, as well as 12 pallets of PROSILENCE MIX sacks.
