Cold area flooring, Vic

A flooring application has been carried out in 2 different areas for the meat and food industry.

One for a passageway between several freezing chambers and the second area; a slab in a preparation area. Both are at a cold temperature.

The product PROLIMIT was applied, with a total volume of about 148m3 supplied, by pumping through pipes, as they were in areas that were difficult to access. Prolimit can also be pumped.

Prolimit was chosen for this application because, being located in a difficult to access area, the mesh was saved by using structural polymeric fibres. In addition, as it is a product exposed to cold areas, the fibres are not affected, making it a much more reliable and durable product than conventional reinforced concrete.
