Lightweight concrete floor refurbishment – FOLGUEROLES

For the refurbishment of a floor slab of a house in Folgueroles, it was decided to use lightweight concrete to lighten the loads on the existing structure, with electro-welded grating and connectors.

This type of concrete is specially designed not to add weight to the structural assembly, manufactured in lightweight aggregates.

The supply was by concrete mixer lorry and unloading was carried out by bucket, from the plant in Les Masies de Voltregà (Barcelona).
