Ecodesign Award 2019 for the Alpine sustainable bench by Escofet with ariblack by Molins

The jury awarded the Ecodesign Award in the Product category to Escofet’s Alpine bench for its contribution to the circular economy through the use of steel aggregates.

The third edition of the Catalonia Ecodesign Award, organised by the Catalan Government’s Department of Territory and Sustainability and the Catalan Waste Agency, was held last November.

The award is aimed at designers, product manufacturers or students with the objective of recognising those products and services that reduce the environmental impact in their life cycles. Based on sustainable design criteria, from their conception to the management of the final waste, through the manufacturing process, distribution and use, their contribution to the circular economy is valued.

The jury awarded the Ecodesign Award in the Product category to Alpine by Escofet. In recognition of the incorporation of eco-design strategies and contribution to the circular economy, design quality and innovation.
