Advantages

• Improved product performance: faster and more continuous execution that favours productivity.
• Different densities of reinforcement can be found in the same unit of new jersey, thus responding to different mechanical requirements, depending on the needs of the point of the road.
• More aesthetic. It is a continuous product that only incorporates expansion joints.
• Greater safety for motorists and vehicles: a concrete new jersey is mechanically safer than a metal bollard.
• Concrete safety barriers provide:
  • Structural strength, ability to withstand a crash.
  • Low risk to vehicle occupants.
  • Vehicle redirection after an impact, in the case of out-of-control vehicles.

Application system

• The supply is carried out in a concrete mixer lorry or in a tub, by direct and continuous pouring, with no waiting time between pours.
• Specific machinery is required in each case, with the appropriate sliding formwork for the object to be moulded.
• For an optimum finish, the application must be carried out by specialised personnel.
