RECYCLED ARID CONCRETE: Indispensable on construction sites

Concrete with recycled aggregates is a reality at the Molins de Barcelona plants. Our sales team is now at your disposal to advise you and offer you the best product.

Recycled aggregates are materials obtained from the crushing of construction and demolition waste. At the Molins Alternative Raw Materials plant, we collect hardened concrete and other materials from CDW, which we then separate and crush to obtain quality aggregates of recycled origin.

The use of recycled aggregates for the manufacture of concrete presents a major technical challenge, as the characteristics of these can vary significantly. Molins has taken all the steps to meet the technical requirements to obtain the CE marking, issued by APPLUS, which allows us to use the coarse recycled aggregates for the manufacture of concrete, mortar and granular layers.

We also have the voluntary A+ mark, which certifies that the coarse aggregates comply with the requirements of the Structural Code for the use of concrete, a standard that will replace EHE-08 from November 2021.

At Molins, we are prepared to supply structural and cleaning concrete with recycled aggregates throughout the metropolitan area of Barcelona. In this way, we make it easier for construction companies to comply with the 5% recycled aggregate standard on construction sites. We also highlight the environmental benefits of concrete with recycled aggregates, such as the reduction in the amount of construction and demolition waste that ends up in landfills and the reduction in the extraction of natural aggregates.

Our sales team is always at your disposal to advise you on the concrete that best suits the needs of the work.
