Castellbisbal-Martorell Mediterranean Corridor

The work on the Mediterranean corridor in the Castellbisbal-Martorell section involves the construction of 3 different tunnels with a construction schedule of 2 years, starting in 2019.

In the first phase, the Costablanca tunnel, more than 1,000m3 of gunite has been supplied. Another phase in the Martorell Tunnel is planned for spring 2020.

The gunite is supplied with a workability margin of 3h (with retardant), with different dosages according to specifications (425, 450 and 475Kg cement) plus fibres.

Between the 3 tunnels, some 10,000 m3 of gunite is planned, in addition to 55,000 m3 of other types of concrete.
