Indoor flooring in industrial building with fewer joints, near Barcelona

For this project located in Vallès Occidental, concrete has been supplied to rebuild part of the pavement inside an industrial building. The product PROLIMIT, from the PROMSA TECH product family, has been chosen as it provides a solution to :
– Forklift passage area, continuous forklift passage.
– Fewer joints in the flooring.
– Avoiding the use of electro-welded mesh.

PROLIMIT concrete has been applied for 300m2 of paving, 20cm thick with structural polymeric fibres, making a single transverse joint to obtain two 150m2 slabs.
The PROLIMIT concrete achieves characteristic compressive and residual flexural strengths according to annex 14 of the EHE-08 without having to use traditional reinforcement and allows large surfaces to be achieved without joints or cuts in the paving.

The supply was made from the Promsa La Garriga plant.
