Refurbishment of office building, lightening of existing floor slab, Barcelona

Very close to 22@ in BCN, an old building that needed to be lightened in its structure was refurbished. It was decided to add a metallic structure (electro-welded grid) with HAL, a lightweight self-compacting concrete to fill the cavities.

As it is a pumpable and self-compacting product, apart from being resistant, it provides safety and also ease and speed in its application, being able to reach all the corners of the cavities thanks to its consistency.

The execution has been carried out by the Promsa Pavements team with the supply from the Zona Franca plant.
