Viladecans Funeral Parlour

The façade of the Viladecans mortuary, in the province of Barcelona, was built in 2016 with architectural concrete, self-compacting concrete.

This type of concrete, as it has a fluid and self-compacting consistency, makes it adaptable to any type of formwork, however complex it may be.

The entire façade was cast continuously in 3 different phases. Before starting the concreting, meetings were held with those responsible for the work, with the project management and also with the formwork workers to correctly plan the concreting and to carry out a preliminary test to analyse the behaviour and possible improvements to be made.
