Artesas – Jaca-Santa Cilia Highway

Four 2-lane viaducts (11.80 m), with two girders between 28-49 m in length and between 4 -18 isostatic spans, with piers executed “in-situ”.

Notable:

  • The smaller number of elements, lines and shadows mean that this typology is considered to have a higher aesthetic value than double Ts.
  • More appropriate than double Ts in the case of crossings over channels at low height.
  • The cantilever pre-slabs are self-supporting and include anchors for temporary railings during the execution of the slab, lateral “parapastas” partitions and auxiliary anchors for the metal skirts of the fascia.
  • The layout of the pre-slabs adapts to the curved layout of the viaducts.

  • The beams are mounted with the required cant and longitudinal slope, making it easier for the deck to fit to the layout.
  • The Minimum number of beams ensures high assembly performance.
