Cementos Molins renews its board and approves a final dividend of 0.14 euros

The Ordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting of Cementos Molins, held today online for the second consecutive year, has approved the annual accounts, the management report and the management of the Board of Directors, its committees and the CEO, evaluating very positively the evolution of the results obtained in 2020, a year in which revenues reached 775 million euros and a net profit of 93 million euros, 3% more than the previous year, despite being marked by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Another of the items approved at the AGM was the payment of a final dividend for 2020 of EUR 0.14 per share, bringing the total amount distributed in 2020 to EUR 0.42 per share, representing a pay-out of 30%. This final dividend, which aims to improve shareholder remuneration, will be paid on 14 July.

The Board also gave the green light to the appointment of three new members to its board of directors. Beatriz Molins Domingo has been appointed proprietary director, Jean-Carlos Angulo has been appointed independent director, and Roser Ràfols Vives has been appointed proprietary director, following the departures of Javier Fernández Bescós and Eusebio Díaz-Morera, who had been on the board since 2012, and of the representatives of Noumea S.A. and Foro Familiar Molins S.L.

The board subsequently ratified the re-elections of Juan Molins Amat as chairman of Cementos Molins, Socorro Fernández Larrea as chairman of the audit and compliance committee, and Andrea Kathrin Christenson as chairman of the remuneration and appointments committee. The board also approved the appointment of Jean-Carlos Angulo as a member of the audit and compliance committee.
